Chuck provides McAlvain with extensive program management, construction management, general contracting, and design/build experience. Throughout his 36-year career, Chuck has been responsible for the overall performance and delivery of preconstruction and construction services across a broad base of market segments including residential/multi-family/work-force housing, hospitality, institutional, commercial, industrial/manufacturing/distribution and hi-tech for programs and projects that singularly have exceeded more than $1 Billion. Chuck is a licensed Construction Manager within the State of Idaho and has served on many construction and community advisory boards.

Torry is 3rd Generation for McAlvain. A graduate of Boise State University, Torry has worked his way up through the corporate ranks and has left his imprint on each department he has worked in including accounting, estimating, business development, project management and senior leadership. His passion is in continuous improvement and building the A team. He is a &#8220;Thrill Seeker&#8221; by nature and enjoys everything that challenges his mental/physical makeup from marathons, triathlons and technical mountain climbing. Torry is an active participant in the community and sits on BAA, AGC, and St. Luke&#8217;s Children&#8217;s Hospital boards.

As Chief Operating Officer for McAlvain, Jim is responsible for setting the vision for where the company is going, aligning the resources to pursue that vision, and motivating our Team members to succeed and grow in their careers. From childhood, Jim has always enjoyed the satisfaction of building things with his hands. Working construction during the summer between college terms while pursuing a major in Business helped Jim realize construction management was more of a natural fit for him.  Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from the University of Washington. Before joining McAlvain, Jim&#8217;s grew his career as a PE, Cost Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager and Sr PM for Turner Construction Company and Sr PM, Project Executive, VP, Senior VP-Operations for Howard S Wright/Balfour Beatty. Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, hiking, fly fishing, fitness and traveling.

Dave provides team leadership and support, overseeing the effective planning and managing of commercial projects to successful completion. Since before he could remember, Dave has always been fascinated by commercial construction and cranes which had led to him working various construction jobs from Middle School thru graduating from the University of Nebraska.  He initially worked for a local commercial roofer in Omaha at the age of 13 and then a lumber yard, geotechnical firms, and various internships throughout the United States. Working through these different lenses of construction has fueled his passion for the construction industry and the impact it has on our society and our families.  His professional career has taken him to building several very complex urban projects in the western United States. Dave is an active participant in the community and manages a 14U Club Softball Team and sits on the Boise Blast Softball Organization Board. He enjoys skiing, softball, hiking and fishing.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska and is a Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) Certified Professional.

Tyler provides team leadership and support; overseeing the effective planning and managing of infrastructure, civil and industrial projects to successful completion.  Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the Boise State University. His career has provide incredible exposure to a wide variety of exceptional projects and talented people, beginning with his time at Kiewit as an Engineer to rising through the McAlvain ranks as a Project Engineer, Project Manager and Project Director. Tyler has been involved in everything from commercial, industrial, infrastructure, water and water renewal projects. Tyler is an active participant in the community as a member of the City of Boise Code Advisory Board, PNCWA Construction Committee Member and Vice President of the Boise State Construction Management Industry Advisory Board. He enjoys spending time with family, exploring the great outdoors, snowboarding and art.  Tyler is OSHA 30 certified and is a licensed Construction Manger within the State of Idaho.

Austin started his career in the industry back when he was 16 years old, and he has been passionate about the structural concrete discipline ever since.  Austin has worked in every level of the self-perform concrete world from the laborer pouring concrete to the finisher to the carpenter building the formwork.  He was apart of many landmark projects throughout the Puget sound area prior to moving to Idaho with his childhood sweetheart and children in 2019. Since then, Austin has provided provides team leadership and support, overseeing the effective planning and managing of concrete construction projects to successful completion. When Austin is not working he is commonly found with his wife and children living the best years of his life.
